One Piece Showcase – Straw Hats Roronoa Zoro & Nami

Inspired by LEGO’s release of sets based on the One Piece Netflix adaptation, I set out to create a custom series of builds that celebrate the wider One Piece universe from both the original manga and anime. These designs aim to capture the unique spirit, personality, and creativity of the Straw Hat Pirates and their adventures, bringing fan-favorite characters to life in a new, brick-built form.

LEGO BrickHeadz Character Spotlight: Nami & Zoro from One Piece

When it comes to fan builds, LEGO has an amazing ability to capture the essence of characters, even in blocky form. The BrickHeadz line in particular gives us chibi-style renditions of our favorite heroes, and in this spotlight, we’re taking a closer look at two iconic members of the Straw Hat Pirates: Nami and Roronoa Zoro.

🌊 Nami – The Navigator

Nami, the ever-clever navigator of the Straw Hat crew, is instantly recognizable in this BrickHeadz version. Her bright orange hair is faithfully recreated with layered LEGO slopes and tiles, giving it the volume and style that mirrors her anime counterpart. The bangs are especially well-done, framing her face and capturing her signature look.

She stands with a confident pose, holding her staff-like Clima-Tact, the weapon she uses to manipulate the weather in battle. Even though it’s made from simple LEGO elements, it perfectly represents her ingenious spirit and resourcefulness.

The choice of colors—light beige for her skin tone, blue for her clothing, and white for her base—adds a playful vibrancy, much like Nami herself. She’s both stylish and strong-willed, and this BrickHeadz captures that balance beautifully.

⚔️ Zoro – The Swordsman

Standing right beside her is the Straw Hat crew’s master swordsman, Roronoa Zoro. Known for his stoic demeanor and unmatched sword skills, Zoro’s BrickHeadz design nails his iconic look in LEGO form.

His jet-black bandana is shaped into a clean, rounded style using curved pieces, and his outfit reflects his classic attire: earthy tones of brown with a red sash around his waist. One of his signature swords is clipped to his side, a nod to his legendary three-sword style.

What really makes this build shine is the subtle detail—a small, printed smile—that adds character. Zoro is usually serious, but here, he seems ready for battle while still keeping that approachable BrickHeadz charm.

🎉 Together as Straw Hats

Seeing Nami and Zoro side by side is a treat for any One Piece fan. Their designs complement each other perfectly—Nami’s bright and cheerful vibe contrasting Zoro’s composed and battle-ready stance.

While they’re tiny in size, these BrickHeadz showcase just how expressive LEGO can be. From hairstyles to accessories, every brick choice contributes to telling their story. Whether displayed on a desk, bookshelf, or alongside other Straw Hat members, these two bring the adventurous spirit of One Piece to life in a blocky, collectible form.
