With the discourse swirling around the ending of Stranger Things, it’s easy to get caught up in debate—but none of that should distract from the creativity the series continues to inspire. This Demogorgon LEGO MOC is a perfect example of how strong design transcends opinion: even if the show’s finale divided fans, builds like this remind us why the world of Hawkins still sparks imagination.
The model itself is a striking piece of character engineering. Built primarily in light grey, it leans into texture and silhouette rather than colour to sell the creature’s eerie presence. The layered petal-like head design captures the Demogorgon’s iconic open “flower” shape beautifully, with the translucent red element at the centre acting as a simple but powerful focal point. The use of clip joints, droid arms, and articulated limbs gives the figure a hunched, predatory posture that feels alive—mid-step, as if it’s just crossed over from the Upside Down. Small details like the clawed hands and elongated proportions show thoughtful part usage and a strong understanding of character.
It’s a compact, clever, and characterful build—proof that fandom creativity can stand on its own, regardless of how the story ends.
To close, this is yet another standout creation from Patrick, known in the community as @the_brick_patch—a builder whose consistency, imagination, and generosity continue to elevate the space. We’re incredibly grateful not just for the quality of his work, but for the way he shows up for Blacklug: contributing, supporting, and helping to push forward a more inclusive and community-driven LEGO culture.
Builders like Patrick are exactly why Blacklug exists—and we’re proud to continue spotlighting his creations.
